Collaboration Idea

Hi Eric,

I’m Jen, owner and founder of God Ain’t Petty, But I Am®. I started the brand in 2021, and I have a team here in Phoenix, Arizona, that handles production and order fulfillment.

I’d love to collaborate with you on this shirt:

Don’t vote like you in love. Vote strategically, HOE! T-shirt

If you don’t like this design, no problem. We can go back to the drawing board and make changes until we have something that feels right for both of our audiences. If you like the direction, my team can begin working on it as soon as today.

What I’m proposing

My recommendation is that we sell the shirt for $25 and pay you 20% of the net revenue from this specific shirt.

If someone pays the full $25, you would receive $5. If a customer uses one of the automatic discounts on our website, your payment would be 20% of the discounted shirt price.

Shipping and sales tax would not be included in the royalty calculation. Refunded, canceled, or charged-back orders would also be deducted.

Reporting and payment

We would send you a weekly report showing the number of shirts sold, the revenue collected, any discounts or refunds, and the royalty earned.

Each week, we would pay 75% of the royalty earned and temporarily hold the remaining 25% to cover possible refunds, cancellations, or chargebacks. Any unused amount would be released after 30 days.

My team would manage the website, production, customer service, packaging, and shipping. We can begin with the T-shirt and expand into sweatshirts, hoodies, mugs, stickers, or tote bags later if it makes sense.

This is just a starting point, and I’m open to discussing what would work best for both of us.

We can continue chatting here. If there is someone else who needs to be involved, or if you would prefer to have this information sent by email, my executive assistant, Gina, can coordinate that. She can be reached at gina@godaintpetty.com.

This is a proposed collaboration outline for discussion. Final terms would be included in a written agreement approved by both parties.
